Hotel – Lux Maldives Property Type – 5 Star Property Category - Luxury, Romance Address – South Ari Atoll Dhidhoofinolhu Island, Maldives Room Type we stayed in – Prestige Water Villa (All Inclusive) Experience – We chose Lux Maldives for 1 week honeymoon and what a great decision it was. Being a Travel agent, I do get confused time to time which property to go for but then Time of the year, Duration of the holiday, Purpose of the trip, Budget etc. helps me narrowing down my preferences. I must say everything is perfect about this Hotel. We spent 7 days in this Hotel and every day it was a new experience. Crystal clear water, 28 Degrees, 5 star service! They possible have everything you can think of – Water Sports, Free Phone Service where you can call Home, Evening Sunset Cruises, variety of cuisine with 7 different Restaurants and 6 Bars, Café Lux where they service Organic Coffee, Alfresco Cinema on the Beach, Lux Me Spa, Dedicated Diving Center. Also worth mentioning for all Non-Alcoholic peeps, Lux was extremely kind in serving Non-Alcoholic drinks to us every day since they knew we both don’t drink alcohol. There were some amazing creative Mock-tails every day for both of us. Don’t forget to enjoy Whale Shark spotting and Sting Ray feeding around their Japanese Restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the service. Any moment we called for Room-Service and <bam> we had our request fulfilled within seconds. By the way be aware of the sun in Maldives! A very high sun protection is a must have. Located close to the equator, Maldives receive high amount of sun-rays. Almost direct, they strike at a 90 degree angle.   Near By Attractions – Since Lux is the only resort on the island of Dhidhoofinolhu, you will not find any shopping malls, high streets, downtown nearby. In case you wish to go to nearest town, you will have to rent Boat/Ferry or Sea Plane in order to get to Male (Capital of Maldives) or other islands.   Applause Moment – Our Room service guy decorated our Bed and Bath tub everyday with new theme. It was very special. Whenever we got back to the room, we knew there is something beautiful waiting for us. Thank you Lux for making it so special & memorable.
